Trivedi Hospitality honors front-line health care workers with free stays

Two local hotels are offering free stays for front-line health care workers who need to quarantine or who just need to get away. The Four Points by Sheraton in Schaumburg and the Comfort Inn in Des Plaines are participating. Every health care worker who stays will also receive a complimentary gift bag filled with treats.

Healthcare organizations are grateful for the gesture. Roxanne Parikh manages physician relations for Amita Health (Alexian Brothers and St. Alexius Medical Centers). She said, "Amita Health continues to be in awe of the generous and heartfelt donations and compassion the community continues to display to our front-line medical staff."

Trivedi Hospitality owns the hotels. Chief Development and Marketing Officer Pratik Trivedi said, "Early on in the pandemic, there was a lot of support for health care workers. Now, they're telling us they feel forgotten. We want these heroes to know they are not forgotten and we appreciate them." The Trivedi Hospitality front-line Healthcare Worker Program will run at least through February 2021. "It's the least we can do while the pandemic rages on," said Trivedi.

Quarantining Stays to Protect Families

Frontline health care workers who need to quarantine can stay free for up to seven nights. "We are taking precautions to ensure that they have a restful stay and that all of our guests and employees remain safe," said Trivedi. "This includes additional cleaning and disinfecting protocols on top of our already thorough standards." Each of the participating hotels will have a floor designated just for people who are quarantining.

Stress Relief Night

Additionally, front-line health care workers who just need a break can enjoy a complimentary stress-free overnight getaway. The stay includes a complimentary beverage from the hotel bar.

Two Locations Available
