Bartlett retirement community renamed The Oaks

The Bartlett continuing care retirement community originally named Clare Oaks has been renamed The Oaks at Bartlett as it begins operating under new management.

ER Senior Management was appointed to operate the facility at the end of 2020 and has announced a new leadership team under recently named Executive Director Tim Lynch.

The retirement community, which emerged from bankruptcy last fall, had been known as Clare Oaks since opening in 2008.

"The name change signifies a shift in direction as we move forward to meet the needs of our residents," Lynch said in a statement. "I'm enthusiastic about how our new name and fresh identity signal that we are planning important changes for this community."

With more than 20 years' experience in the health care and senior living fields, Lynch began his career as a physical therapist and has held management positions in hospitals and retirement communities on both coasts and in Texas.
