Bensenville's 'Music in the Park' series returns July 14

Everyone's favorite free family summer concert series, Bensenville's "Music in the Park" begins in July and has something to offer for all musical tastes.

With COVID-19 cases trending downwards in the community, the village of Bensenville is announcing the return of the "Music in the Park" summer concerts this summer.

It will be held in its traditional location in downtown Bensenville from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays, July 14 to Aug. 25, at 12 S. Center St.

Bensenville restaurants will sell dinner and dessert items so families can enjoy a meal prior to each concert. The classic car cruise nights will return next year.

On July 14, it will be The Moods, a Motown revue. On July 21, Heart to Heartbreaker will perform a tribute to the women of rock.

On July 28, Generation will perform rock and soul. On Aug. 4, Heartache Tonight will offer a salute to the Eagles.

On Aug. 11, the popular festival band, 7th Heaven, will perform.

On Aug. 18, it will be Kashmir: The Led Zeppelin concert.

The series will wrap up Aug. 25 with "Simply Elton - The Elton John Show."

All dates are considered tentative and subject to change due to the COVID-19 pandemic. All attendees are asked to follow state and Centers for Disease Control guidelines while in attendance.
