Free concerts return this summer to Aurora's Millennium Plaza
Aurora Downtown is once again hosting "Wednesdays at the Plaza," a free summer concert series at the Millennium Plaza gazebo, 21 S. Stolp Ave. in downtown Aurora.
The free series begins Wednesday, July 14, and runs through Wednesday, Aug. 11. All concerts are from 7 to 9 p.m.
On July 14, Oswego folk singer and songwriter Mirabelle Skipworth will perform with opener Nick Wiesner, acoustic singer/songwriter from Aurora.
On July 21, WDCB Jazz presents Chris Greene Quartet, an eclectic jazz group.
It will be followed July 28 by The Darling Suns, an indie rock band, with opener Payton K.
On Aug. 4, the concert will feature The Heavy Lifting.
On Aug. 11, the Aurora Latin Band with Los Colores de mi Tierra dance group will perform.
Harvey's Fire Box will be the visiting food truck July 14 and 21, and Aug. 11.
Millennium Plaza features concrete stadium seating. Blankets and chairs are welcome. Food and nonalcoholic beverages are encouraged.
