Park Ridge Warriors 11u Blue Capture LSFBL Title Game

Millions of boys over the years have played youth baseball across America in the summer months. This generation of kids is no different.

The Lake Shore Feeder Baseball League (LSFBL) recently wrapped up its 2021 season, which featured a large number of suburban youth travel teams. The 11A title game was the prime game of the day with No. 1 Wilmette Green vs. No. 2 Park Ridge Warriors 11U Blue. Wilmette entered with an unbelievable 27-1 record and 14 straight wins. Park Ridge Warriors Blue pulled off the shocking upset by topping Wilmette 9-5 in the title game at Community Park West in Glenview to end the season on a 7-game winning streak and its 1st LSFBL Title.

Charlie Giambarberee, Ryan Pape and Colin O'Brien led the way with multiple hits in the title game, while Austin Breaux's towering 3-run home run in the top of the 5th inning added some cushion for its pitchers. Coin O'Brien pitched 4 innings with only giving up only 1 run, while Andrew Rose closed out the game with 2 innings pitched allowing only a single run.
