Horse rescue celebrates 13th anniversary with silent auction fundraiser Sept. 11
The Illinois Equine Humane Center is celebrating an outstanding 13 years of horse rescue, rehabilitation, re-homing and advocacy with the fourth annual Silent Auction and Farm Festival.
The event will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at the equine rescue and adoption center, 47W635 Beith Road, Maple Park.
Bidding for the silent auction will begin in-person at 5 p.m., the week prior for our exclusive online items!
Auction items ranging from resort getaway packages to Wisconsin, Chicago and local hot spots, to gift baskets, unique and exciting horse racing memorabilia, artwork, and more. Attendees will enjoy live music by Outpatience, BBQ food, and a cash bar. Silent auction winners to be announced between 8 and 9 p.m.
Tickets are available to purchase in advance at www.ilehc.org. Cost is $20 or $10 for children, ages 6 to 17. There is no charge for children under 6. Food and door prizes ticket is included in ticket price.
Whilst advance ticket purchase is encouraged, tickets also will be available at the door. All tickets will be eligible for the door entry prizes.
The Illinois Equine Humane Center is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity created in 2008 by a team of dedicated individuals brought together by the dire need for horses to be rescued from neglect, advocated for and protected from misuse. Since its founding, the center has rescued countless numbers of horses; rehabilitating and rehoming wherever possible or providing sanctuary under the devoted care of the ILEHC volunteers and supporters.
