AID's 60th anniversary auction returns to Fishermen's Inn Sept. 30
The Association for Individual Development will host a 60th anniversary "Shine Bright Like a Diamond" themed benefit auction on Thursday, Sept. 30, at the scenic Fishermen's Inn in Elburn. One of a kind items will be up for bid and exciting games will take place throughout the evening.
AID will strive to raise over $100,000 at this event with all proceeds benefiting over 6,300 individuals with developmental, behavioral and crisis needs currently receiving AID services.
Individual auction event tickets are available for $150 or $1,450 for a table of 10.
Raffle baskets filled with fun and useful items are also available.
Event tickets and raffle basket tickets are available at www.aidcares.org/Auction/. Raffle basket winners are not required to attend the event.
The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails, followed by a dinner, silent/live auctions and raffles.
AID will comply with all current Centers for Disease Control COVID-19 guidelines, including offering a customized mask to each attendee.
Since 1961, the Association for Individual Development has served individuals with developmental, intellectual, physical and/or mental health challenges, those who have suffered a trauma and those at risk. Vital, life-enriching services that promote the highest level of independence and community participation include: autism programs; permanent supportive housing; in-home support; career planning and vocational preparation; job placement and on-the-job coaching services; crisis intervention; victims services; behavioral intervention; health and wellness; community education; and advocacy.
