Local DAR Chapter Successful Due to Community Generosity

The Signal Hill, NSDAR Chapter of Barrington thanks local community members and organizations for their generous support of the December 2021 Wreaths Across America Day at Evergreen Cemetery. Whether participation means financial support to purchase wreaths placed on that day, or presence at the memorial service and subsequent placement of wreaths on over 735 veterans' graves, it is all most welcome.

Signal Hill will be sponsoring their fourth year of partnership with Wreaths Across America at Evergreen Cemetery, with the event taking place on Saturday, December 17, 2022. Donations toward purchase of wreaths can be accepted until November 30th, 2022 by visiting WreathsAcrossAmerica.org/ILEGCA. This year's theme is "Find a Way to Serve" more information about Wreaths Across America and its mission can be found at WreathsAcrossAmerica.org

Signal Hill, NSDAR is a 501 (c) (3) organization, supporting DAR's mission of education, historic preservation, patriotism, conservation, and Native American issues. The chapter was founded in 1972, and is dedicated to preserving history, promoting patriotism, conservation and historic awareness in our community, and securing America's future through better education for children.
