Sales up 12% at CDW

LINCOLNSHIRE - CDW Corp. Wednesday released financial results for it fourth quarter and 20021 fiscal year. Total net sales in 2021 were $20.8 billion, compared to $18.4 million in 2020, an increase of 12.7%, the company said

CDW said the increase includes $197 million of net sales from the $2.5 billion acquisition of Sirius Computer Solutions Inc., which closed on Dec. 1.

CDW is a leading provider of computers, software and information technology solutions to business, government, education and health care customers in the U.S., the United Kingdom and Canada.

"Our strong fourth quarter and full year performance demonstrated the power of our business model with balance across customer end markets and our product and solutions portfolio, and reinforced the strength of our strategy," said Christine A. Leahy, president and chief executive officer.

Gross profit was $976 million in the fourth quarter of 2021, compared to $881 million in the fourth quarter of 2020, representing an increase of 10.8%, the company said.
