Learn about native plants for small gardens at West Chicago Garden Club meeting Feb. 24

The West Chicago Garden Club invites you to attend the February meeting with a program on "Gardening with Native Plants Through the Seasons."

The speaker will be Denise Sandoval who is an award winning landscape designer and owner of Good Natured Landscaping. She has over 20 years experience with native plants.

The club meets from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 155 N. Prince Crossing Road, West Chicago. It is free, but there's an optional club membership for $20.

In her program, Sandoval will take you through the seasons and discuss plants that are great for wildlife, grow well, and are beautiful in the garden, including small-medium landscapes. She will also share design tips for these plants.

Please note that, at this time, masks are required at the meetings.

The West Chicago Garden Club is open to anyone who enjoys gardening, from beginners to masters. Club members come from throughout the Western suburbs. Visitors are welcome to come to the meetings.
