Spay Illinois to host pet clinic March 13 in Lisle

On Sunday, March 13, Spay Illinois will host a free pet vaccine and microchip clinic for all Illinois residents who receive Link (food stamps) benefits.

It will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Spay Illinois Pet Well Clinic, 2765 Maple Ave. in Lisle.

Services will include rabies vaccines, distemper combos, and microchips, for dogs and cats. County rabies tags are required to be purchased at the time of service for all rabies vaccines.

County tag prices range from $16-$91 depending on whether the pet is spayed/neutered or intact and whether a one-year or three-year rabies vaccine is given.

The clinic will be open to all Illinois residents who receive Link benefits. A Link card and ID are required to participate in the clinic. The clinic is by appointment only.
