Ribbon-cutting ceremony held for One-Stop Furniture & More in Bensenville

On Friday, Feb. 11, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for One-Stop Furniture & More located at 1059 S. York Road in the Brentwood Commons shopping center.

The ceremonial red ribbon was cut by Bensenville Village President Frank DeSimone and store owner Bader Abad to celebrate the opening of their newest location.

Attendees included village staff, village officials, members of the Bensenville Chamber of Commerce, and friends and family. Following the ceremony, store staff also committed to making a $1,000 donation to the Bensenville Community Foundation.

"As we come out of the pandemic, I recognize the courage it takes to open an establishment like this and to take a chance on Bensenville. It shows you believe in this community and demonstrates you are "Bensenville Strong" just like this town is. We are glad to have you here and wish you and your family nothing but success in Bensenville," said Village President Frank DeSimone.

One-Stop Furniture & More has been family-owned since 2011 starting with its original location in Melrose Park. The Bensenville location will be operated by store manager Osama Abad, son of the store's owner, Bader Abad.

Their stores offer a wide variety of household furniture for bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms, as well as mattresses, rugs, and much more. Visit www.facebook.com/1STOPFURNITUREANDMORE/.
