Streamwood Park District's Spring 2022 Program Guide is now available online

The Streamwood Park District has released its Spring 2022 Program Guide, which is now available online for viewing and downloading.

Patrons and community members will be happy to find some new and exciting programs and special events taking place in March, April, and May. The park district's 12th Annual Park Pride Day is looking to make history once again with an even larger turnout in 2022 than it did in 2021.

Some brand new holiday Easter events are scheduled to take place in early-to-mid April, with some alternatives to the traditional Easter Egg Hunt the district has been putting on for years.

There are also some adult-oriented events, such as "Paint 'N' Sip" and a "Parent Night Out" event, where parents bring their children to Park Place so parents can enjoy a night out. Kids will enjoy playtime in the gym where they'll participate in games, enjoy crafts, and are served dinner.

Any blooming artists in the family can enjoy painting classes, cooking classes, or enhance their voice and/or piano skills with music lessons.

Recreation Manager in charge of Special Events Michelle Wolverton said, "We look forward to our upcoming spring events. In what seems like a long winter, we're excited to get into our outdoor season. With such a wide variety for everyone in the family, Spring should be a hopping good time."

Registration opens on Monday, February 21. Park District patrons can register online at StreamwoodParks.org/registration or in-person at Park Place Family Recreation Center in partnership with RUSH Physical Therapy.
