Sewa International honored with AMEC award

During the 11th annual Congressional Global Community, American Multi Ethnics Coalition Inc., along with Congressman Danny Davis, presented Sewa International the organization of the year award.

Sewa International, USA, is a nonprofit organization which has been recognized as four-star rated charity by Charity Navigator and ranked in top 10 by Benevity for 2021 donor supported causes.

With 150,000-plus individual donors and 5,000-plus volunteers, Sewa International was able to collect over $32 million last year during pandemic and assisted countries (ie India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Guyana, Iraq, South Africa, Suriname and Trinidad) by sending them oxygen concentrators and other COVID supplies.
