Solesence Beauty plans to enter Australian market

ROMEOVILLE — Solesence Beauty Science, a beauty product developer, said it has been granted a clearance to sell its sunscreens in the Australian market.

Solesence, through its parent company Nanophase Technologies, has been grated permission to sell and manufacture creams, lotions, sprays, sticks and all topical sunscreen forms in that country, the company said. The Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) clearance was issued by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), a division of Australia's Department of Health.

“TGA GMP site clearance has been years in the making, and it opens a lot of doors for us in the long term, as it is required to market Solésence-made products as primary sunscreens in Australia,” said Jess Jankowski, chief executive officer. “This will also help us to evaluate the strategic possibilities of manufacturing products in-country as our presence grows.”
