Northwestern Mutual-Chicago expands frontline leadership team
As Northwestern Mutual-Chicago continues to deepen client relationships and grow into new markets, it is adding to its leadership team. Richard A. Green has been named a Growth & Development Director with the Chicago-based financial planning firm's Rosemont office.
"The demand for financial security has never been greater, and our growth is providing us with opportunities to develop the next generation of financial advisors and leaders," said Corey D. McQuade, managing partner. "Our vision is to be a firm of enduring firms, reflecting the communities we serve, multiplying our impact and influence."
As a Growth and Development Director, Green takes on a leadership role attracting, selecting, developing and retaining a team of financial advisors. Through coaching and mentoring, Green will work with his team members to define a career path best for them.
Since 2014, Green has been associated with Northwestern Mutual. He joined the firm as an intern while a collegiate athlete at Dominican University and converted to a full-time financial representative upon graduation.
As the first step in the development track, he was appointed a College Unit Director in 2018. He led an energized group of college interns taking part in one of the top internship programs in the country. In 2019 he was invited to join the 1872 Leadership Development Program, where he learned the fundamentals of leading others, leading a team, leading himself.
Green received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Dominican University. He resides in Elmwood Park with his wife and their two children.
