Hey Nonny Launches New Spring Menu on April 5

Hey Nonny, the popular Arlington Heights music venue and bistro, is launching its new seasonal spring menu on April 5. Chef Tony, the bistro's critically acclaimed chef, has prepared brunch and dinner menus that focus on fresh spring flavors.

"Chef Tony never fails to impress us with his imaginative recipes and fresh takes on classic dishes," said co-owner Chip Brooks. "He always incorporates local, seasonal produce into his recipes and the spring menu is no different. I'm already excited to pull up a chair and dig in."

New starters on the spring menu include Roasted Red Pepper Hummus and Coconut Shrimp. The menu also marks the return of Hey Nonny's deluxe Charcuterie & Cheese Board. The dinner menu debuts Shrimp Tacos, Chicken Gorda (stuffed chicken breast), Pork Marsala, Honey Glazed Salmon, a New York Strip Steak, and Rasta Pasta.

"Rasta Pasta is a bold array of vegetables with pappardelle pasta," said Brooks. "It's just a fun name, but also reflects the natural foods diet of the Jamaican Rastafarians."

Favorites like the Nonny Burger, Brisket Tacos, and Bergamot Chicken Sandwich are carried over to the new menu.

For the Spring Menu debut on April 5, Hey Nonny is going to ask guests to help decide on the optimal wine pairings. "Anyone who buys one of the new dishes can order a $3 flight of three wine tastings - and then tell us what goes best with what," said Brooks. "Our patrons have good taste - this will help our servers a lot."

The new Hey Nonny brunch menu kicks off with the Jazz Brunch on Sunday, April 10. New brunch menu items include a Bagel Board (classic lox and bagels), a Bacon Bacon Waffle (bacon in and next to the waffle), a NY Steak Skillet, and a Breakfast Burrito. Those who prefer the lunch side of brunch can enjoy a Caesar Salad, Shrimp Tacos, and Fresh Gazpacho.

"Hey Nonny is more than a music venue, we're a dining destination," said Brooks. "Our guests have given us the top rating in the area on OpenTable. With this new menu, Chef Tony has raised his game even higher."

Hey Nonny's Sunday Jazz Brunch is sponsored by local realtor Carrie Goodman of @Properties. Starting April 30, Hey Nonny will add in a Saturday brunch with live music and a Saturday afternoon happy hour with live music.
