Free COVID-19 SHIELD testing at CLC changing to new hours

Starting Monday, April 4, the COVID-19 SHIELD testing hours at College of Lake County's Grayslake Campus will change to 12 to 3 p.m. on Mondays and 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursdays in room C106.

The saliva-based COVID-19 test is a non-invasive test simply requiring an individual to deposit a saliva sample into a provided vial. Results are returned to individuals within 24 hours.

This walk-in testing is free and open to the public, regardless of symptoms. You do not need to be a CLC student, faculty or staff member to be tested. Before you arrive, you must register for an account. To register, use the following agency codes:

Public Community: df5brbrj

CLC Student: s0fkdepl-stu

CLC Faculty and Staff: s0fkdepl-empl

You can monitor results and schedule future testing appointments using the MySHIELD patient portal.
