Grains lower,Livestock higher
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower on Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May declined 24.25 cents at $10.9075 a bushel; Mar. corn fell 15.25 cents at $7.4975 a bushel; Mar. oats lost 20.25 cents at $7.0650 a bushel; while Mar. soybeans fell 10.75 cents at $17.0650 a bushel.
Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Feb. live cattle gained 1.50 cents at $1.3992 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle rose 1.37 cents at $1.5677 a pound; Apr. lean hogs was up .52 cent at $1.0257 a pound.
