Orders are due soon for St. Charles Kiwanis "Drive for the Roses"

For the second consecutive year, the St. Charles Kiwanis Club Rose

Day fundraiser will be an outdoor event.

Rose pickup will be from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 23,

in the back parking lot of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1145 N. Fifth Ave. in St. Charles. Club members will bring the roses to each vehicle.

Members have been contacting previous rose recipients for several weeks, but anyone can donate to the club by visiting kiwanisofstcharles.org/RoseDay.

Roses are $25 per dozen and mail-in orders must be prepaid by April 8.

The deadline for online orders is April 15. The proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to support over 20 organizations that help area children and families in need.

The St. Charles Kiwanis Club meets at noon every Tuesday at the Baker Memorial United Methodist Church, 307 Cedar Ave. in St. Charles.
