Donate Blood at Schaumburg's Community Blood Drive April 5

The Village of Schaumburg encourages the public to participate in its next Community Blood Drive that will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5 at The Barn, 231 S. Civic Drive in Schaumburg.

Interested blood donor participants should call 1-877-25VITAL (1-877-258-4825) or register online at www.vitalant.org and use sponsor code OR0SH98. Appointments are highly recommended to reduce wait times; however, walk-ins are welcome.

All participants must wear a face covering at the event. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home.

Participating donors will receive either a Culver's Give a Pint, Get a Pint coupon or a coupon for one large, one topping pizza from Papa John's. All donors will also be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of four $25 Home Depot gift cards.

Schaumburg partners with Vitalant to offer five blood drives a year for the community to help with blood donation. For more information about the village's community blood drives, please visit www.schaumburg.com/blooddrives, dial 311 in the village, or call the Nursing Division at (847) 923-3766.
