Aptar announces passing of Director Jesse Wu
CRYSTAL LAKE - AptarGroup Inc. Monday announced the death of Jesse Wu, a director of the company since 2018.
Wu served on the board's Management Development & Compensation Committee. Wu served in various roles at Johnson & Johnson, including chairman of Johnson & Johnson China, worldwide chairman of Johnson & Johnson consumer health business, and a member of the Johnson & Johnson Management Committee. Earlier in his career, Wu held positions at Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo in the U.S. and Europe.
"We were very fortunate to have had Jesse's guidance over the past four years, especially his substantial knowledge of the consumer product and health care markets, and his valuable contributions to our strategy for the Asian region," said Stephan B. Tanda, Aptar president and CEO.
"Jesse was a valued member of our board and wonderful colleague," added George Fotiades, chairman of the board. "We mourn his passing and extend our deepest condolences to his family. His warm personality and extensive experience will be greatly missed."
