Walk as One at 1 - World Labyrinth Day - Saturday, May 7
Join thousands of people around the world in a moving meditation for peace and a celebration of the labyrinth experience. Gather with neighbors at The Labyrinth at St. Giles, 3025 Walters Avenue in Northbrook, just before 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 7. We will start a group walk on the 40-foot, 7-circuit classical turf labyrinth located adjacent to the south end of the parking lot. This annual event of The Labyrinth Society is now in its 14th year. The goal is to create a a world-wide, rolling wave of peace-focused energy connecting communities across the time zones. Everyone is welcome to bring peace-themed prayers or poems to share aloud. Hand-held finger labyrinths will be available for those with limited mobility. Peace be with you.
