First Active IHSA Girls gymnastc Judge receives 50 year award
Vicki Munch of Arlington Heights received her 50th year award from the IHSA July 9, 2022. She is one of two women who received this award from the IHSA which coincides with the 50th anniversary for Title 9.
Women of her era did not get the opportunity to compete for their high schools. Women of this era did all they could to support the developing girl's high school athletics programs through coaching and judging.
