Mega Millions $1M winning ticket sold in Huntley

No one won the jackpot prize in Tuesday's Mega Mllions drawing, but Illinois Lottery officials announced a $1 million ticket was sold in Huntley.

The ticket was purchased at JM Food Shop, 11200 N. Route 47, the Illinois Lottery said. The store will receive a 1% commission for selling a winning ticket.

Winning numbers for Tuesday's jackpot were 7-29-60-63-66 and Mega Ball 15.

The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday night for a top prize of $1.025 billion.

Only three jackpots over $1 billion ever have been won in the U.S. Three tickets bought in California, Florida, and Tennessee split a $1.586 billion Powerball jackpot in 2016. A Mega Millions ticket purchased in South Carolina in 2018 won $1.537 billion and another purchased last year in Michigan won $1.05 billion.

Mega Millions is played every Tuesday and Friday night.

In the game's 20-year history, 221 players have scooped the Mega Millions jackpot.
