Can You Dig It? Friendship Village in Schaumburg Hosts Disco Party

A tie-dyed, bell-bottomed, groovy blast to the past was celebrated as Friendship Village senior living community in Schaumburg held a disco dance party last week. Residents, who had a disco dancing refresher course ahead of time, put on their boogies shoes, danced to the tunes of a DJ, and won prizes for best dancer and best costumes.

"The residents danced the night away and want us to have another disco party soon," said Amanda De La Matta, lifestyles activity manager.
