The business offers services for every need and budget from exterior only car washes to full detail packages with various options including an antibacterial sanitizing service that sanitizes and disinfects interior surfaces of vehicles from viruses, bacteria and mold.
With attention to every detail of workmanship and customer service, it's no surprise that Fast Eddie's won the 2022 Best of the Best in the Daily Herald's Readers' Choice Awards in the car wash category. The first Fast Eddie's Car Wash and Detail Center opened in McHenry in 1998. Under Kim and Joseph Doherty's ownership, the business has grown to serve customers in the Barrington, Crystal Lake and the Huntley communities, as well.
The car wash fits every budget with many ways for customers to save. The Wash Club membership features a monthly recharge fee for unlimited car washes with either the Monday through Thursday or Seven-Days-A-Week plan.
Also, with an ongoing wash card sale, when people buy a $100 wash card, they get a $25 wash card free; or they can buy a $50 wash card and get a $10 wash card free.
Each car wash offers a gift shop with greeting cards for every occasion, unique gift items and gourmet snacks and candy. They even carry a variety of products to help make travel with pets stress-free. Other customer favorites consist of auto accessories including air fresheners, Fast Eddie's gift cards, wash cards and lottery tickets.
For customers' convenience, each location is open seven days with hours 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.
