State's first nonalcohol brewery to open in Naperville

NAPERVILLE - Go Brewing, Illinois' first nonalcoholic and low-alcohol craft brewery and taproom, will open Saturday, Oct. 15, at 1665 Quincy Ave., Suite 155, in Naperville.

At launch, Go Brewing will offer five nonalcoholic craft beers made using traditional beer-making methods, with an alcohol-by-volume of 0.5 percent or less. The beers range in calories from 30 to 60 calories. The nonalcoholic beers available are Street Cred Nitro Bold, Suspended in Sunbeam Pilsner, Burn It Down IPA, Head On Witbier, and Prophets Hazy IPA.

Go Brewing's 6,000-square-foot facility was custom-built to create an engaging atmosphere for individuals to visit, learn, socialize and relax. The taproom will provide amenities and activities, including live music, wellness and fitness workshops, and partner with local restaurants and food trucks. The taproom also offers guests a selection of on-brand alternative beverages, including Social, a low-calorie sparkling sake wine, and rotating kombucha from Evanston's Kombucha Brava.

The company is also brewing low-alcohol beers, all with alcohol by volume of less than 2.5%. These include, but are not limited to, a Hazy-IPA, Berliner Weiss, Saison and Märzen. By law, Go Brewing's low-alcohol beers cannot be shipped or purchased online.

However, the company's nonalcoholic beers can be shipped directly to customers' homes by ordering online at www.gobrewing.com.
