Northwestern Mutual Appoints Jabari Turner to Field Director

Northwestern Mutual, a leading financial security company, announced today it has appointed Jabari Turner to serve as its field director in Chicago. In his new role, Turner will be responsible for leading efforts to attract and develop a team at their Hyde Park office location.

He has proven his ability to motivate and mentor team members, influence positive change and build strong community partnerships while helping clients create generational wealth," said Corey McQuade, managing partner for Northwestern Mutual-Chicago. "Jabari has been invaluable to Northwestern Mutual, and we're excited to see him continue to lead our Chicago Hyde Park office - and the company - in his new position."

A south side Chicago native, Turner joined Northwestern Mutual-Chicago in 2016 as a financial advisor. Throughout his time, Turner strengthened partnerships with the Chicago Chapter of the Black MBA Association and the Greenwood Project. He earned his master's degree in Educational Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and his undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Turner is FINRA Series 6 and 63 registered. He is also a member of Changing How Individuals Prosper (CHIP), a network of Black and Latinx financial professionals, and Northwestern Mutual's Sustained Action for Racial Equity Task Force.
