Candy Corn Ale Sweetens Up Buffalo Creek Brewing for Halloween!

Each month, Mike Marr brews new handmade beers to add to the extensive taproom menu at his destination brewery in historic downtown Long Grove. On October 28th at 5:30 pm, he drops an annual Halloween crowd pleaser, Candy Corn Ale, despite everyone's love/hate relationship with the polarizing main ingredient!

To top if off, this year Mike and his legion of beer goblins will transform the brewery and biergarten into a Halloween "Sweet-acular" playground throughout Halloween weekend, October 28th and 29th. The brewery will dish out sweets to the kiddos during downtown Long Grove's annual trick-or-treating day from 1 pm to 5 pm, then beginning at 5 pm they'll play the part of haunted headquarters for the Long Grove Ghost Walk hosted by the Historical Society, followed finally by the release of the infamous Candy Corn Ale. On October 29th, the "ghoul" times keep rolling with a grown-up Halloween party in the biergarten highlighted by a candy and beer pairing flight in partnership with Ma & Pa's Candy store, a costume contest with prizes, and live music by Nothing Personal.
