The venerable law firm of Aronberg Goldghen opened a new Wheaton office during the pandemic, and the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce helped with their official ribbon-cutting on Oct. 6. Karen Mills, Esq., partner at Aronberg Goldgehn, cuts the ribbon surrounded by partners and staff, friends, family and Wheaton Chamber members and ambassadors.

Mayor Phil Suess of Wheaton helps Juan Rubio, owner of The Protein Spot, cut the ribbon on Sept. 13, at their new store at 111 W. Front Street. The Wheaton Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Wheaton Association partnered to welcome The Protein Spot to Wheaton with a few warm words from Allison Orr of the DWA and Donna Teagle of Floor Coverings International who represented the Ambassadors. Suzanne Royer of Northwestern Medicine and chairperson of the board of directors of the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce, also attended (directly behind Mr. Rubio) as well as city council members Scott Weller and Erica Bray-Parker.
Now open at 3 Danada Square East, Tropical Smoothie Café welcomes owners, managers, staff, vendors and the Wheaton Chamber members and Ambassadors to their ribbon-cutting on July 19. Edward Joubran, partner with Michigan Group Holdings LLC, and Brian Zabel, director of operations, shared about the Wheaton store's success as the newest of 35 Tropical Smoothie Cafés in the Chicagoland region.
ComEd on Monday joined Digital Realty, the largest global provider of cloud- and carrier-neutral data center, colocation and interconnection solutions, and community members to cut the ribbon on a new electrical substation that provides more power capacity to support future growth and operation of data centers in the region. The 4-acre substation in Franklin Park is located on Digital Realty's data center campus and delivers new transformer technology and electrical upgrades that are essential to meeting growing demand.
The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce gathered with the village of South Barrington and Arboretum management for a ribbon cutting ceremony on Nov. 3 to celebrate the opening of Daily Thread located at 100 W. The Geneva Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for The Gathering celebrating their new location at 207 S. 3rd St., Suite 110, Geneva on Nov. 4. The ribbon was cut by owner Carrie Tatone while Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns held the ribbon along with Judy Jendro from Coffee Drop Shop surrounded by friends and staff. The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated a ribbon cutting for Barnum Counseling 1300 Iroquois Avenue, Suite 145, on Oct. 27. The ceremony was facilitated with esteemed ambassadors and community members, as well as civic leaders. Mayor Chirico opened the event, saying," thank you for investing in Naperville.
