Allure Pelvic Wellness opens office in Deer Park

The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house Thursday, Dec. 15, to celebrate the grand opening of Allure Pelvic Wellness, 21660 W. Field Parkway, in Deer Park.

"I am excited to open my practice in Deer Park, and look forward to helping women of all ages improve their health so they can live happier, more fulfilling lives," said Dr. Sonya Ephraim, owner and medical director of Allure Pelvic Wellness & Aesthetic Gynecology.

"This is a good adjunct to the pelvic reconstructive surgeries I perform, because Allure allows me to help patients maintain their health and promote healing from within so they can enjoy life more."

Dr. Ephraim served her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and completed a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at St. Luke's University Health System in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

She now serves as the chief of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Mercyhealth in Rockford.
