Residents of Friendship Village Senior Living in Schaumburg Celebrate Mardi Gras

Residents of Friendship Village senior living community in Schaumburg celebrated Mardi Gras last night, with festive masks and accessories, great food, and entertainment.

"We love any opportunity or excuse for a party," said Carla Smith, director of Lifestyles. "While we are not, per se, observing the historical or religious associations to Mardi Gras, we enjoy the perks. It's a day of revelry; parties, live music, and decadent food."
