The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce and the village of Barrington gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 6 to celebrate the grand opening of Wash Werks at 20 E. Dundee Road in Barrington. Attendees at the Wash Werks ribbon-cutting ceremony included: Bill Janke (Wash Werks); Motor Werks representatives; Scott Anderson and Karen Darch (Village of Barrington); Dennis Kelly (FGMK Insurance Agency, Inc.); Bob Finley (Virtue Asset Management); and Suzanne Corr (Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce).
The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated a ribbon cutting for American Family Care Urgent Care, 1355 East Ogden Avenue, Naperville on April 12. The ceremony was facilitated with esteemed ambassadors and community members, as well as civic leaders. Mayor Steve Chirico thanked the owners of American Family Care Urgent care for choosing Naperville and congratulated them on the opening of their new business.
The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated a two-ribbon cutting ceremony for Advent, 1739 Freedom Drive, Suite 101 in Naperville on April 13. The celebration was facilitated with esteemed ambassadors and community members, as well as civic leaders. NACC President and CEO Kaylin Risvold welcomed the owners and staff of Advent to Naperville.
Chicago Executive Airport, the fourth-busiest airport in Illinois, announced a groundbreaking April 19 of Hawthorne Global Aviation Services' 32,900-square facility to include Class A hangar and office space. Construction of the Hangar 22 project is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The new facility is in compliance with the airport's master plan which has been approved by the village of Wheeling and the city of Prospect Heights.
