Wesley UMC to host movie night June 16

Disney's "Sing Along Encanto" will be shown outdoors at 7 p.m. Friday, June 16, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 14 N. May St. in Aurora.

The public is invited. Admission and parking are free. Attendees should bring their own lawn chairs or blankets.

Free refreshments will include hot dogs, popcorn, candy and soft drinks. In case of rain, the movie will be shown inside the church.

From Walt Disney Animation Studios, the film's singalong version features on-screen lyrics from popular musical numbers, including "The Family Madrigal," "Surface Pressure," "We Don't Talk About Bruno, " "Dos Oruquitas" and more.

"Encanto" features original songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda with the original score by Germaine Franco.

Church children and family director Michelle Curiel said, "We're excited to be working in our community to provide a fun and safe outlet for the children in our neighborhood."
