Shawn Collins named nation's top one percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel

Naperville attorney Shawn Collins, of The Collins Law Firm, has been selected as one of the Nation's Top Attorneys for 2023 by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel (NADC).

The NADC is an organization dedicated to promoting the highest standards of legal excellence. Its mission is to recognize the attorneys who elevate the standard of the bar and provide a benchmark for other lawyers to emulate. Less than 1% of practicing attorneys are chosen as members of the Nation's Top Attorneys.

Shawn has dedicated over 20 years to fighting for justice for communities and individuals who have been harmed by environmental contamination. He and his firm have recovered hundreds of millions in compensation for clients who have been diagnosed with cancer after being exposed to carcinogens from corporate polluters as well as for clients whose homes and families have been endangered by contamination from a nearby factory. Collins and the firm have also brought active change to communities, forcing polluters to clean up their contamination, securing clean water for families and homes, and installing in-home environmental mitigation systems for clients endangered by corporate negligence.

"Families, individuals, and communities rely on me to stand up to the corporate polluters that are endangering their homes and health," said Collins. "Winning environmental cases for my clients and getting recognized for those results is proof that I am doing the right thing."

NADC members are thoroughly vetted by a research team, selected by a blue-ribbon panel of attorneys with status from independently neutral organizations, and approved by a judicial review board as exhibiting virtue in the practice of law. Due to the incredible selectivity of the appointment process, only the top one percent of attorneys in the United States are awarded membership in NADC.
