Live country music in the park
Chicago-area country favorites Mackenzie O'Brien and Band will perform at the live music in the park series from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Parkman Pavilion, 2200 E. Grass Lake Road, Lindenhurst. The event is free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. There will be ample parking but carpooling is encouraged. Dogs are not allowed. Visit Facebook or lindenhurstparks.org. The free concert series, presented by Lindenhurst/Lake Villa Community Partners, will be held Wednesday evenings at various venues through Aug. 9.
