Police: Drunk Milwaukee man hit Six Flags Great America employee
Police said a 32-year-old Milwaukee man struck a 69-year-old Six Flags Great America employee for an unknown reason last week.
Tristan A. Mahamed is charged with one count of aggravated assault of a person over the age of 60 and would have to pay $10,000 to leave Lake County jail pending trial, according to county records.
Gurnee Police Public Information Officer Shawn Gaylor said Monday multiple officers were asked to assist theme park security to deal with an irate guest around 3 p.m. July 3. Witnesses told police Mahamed had hit the employee in the face, Gaylor said.
"It was a random act and appears to be a result of the offender being intoxicated," Gaylor said.
Mahamed is next due before a judge July 14.
