Exhibitors can register for MCC's Green Living Expo

Exhibitor and sponsor applications are now being accepted for McHenry County College's Green Living Expo, which will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the college, 8900 Hwy. 14, Crystal Lake.

The Green Living Expo is northern Illinois' biggest and longest-running sustainability event. It features a variety of businesses, organizations, and artists who demonstrate earth-friendly products, services, and unique educational experiences. The expo typically draws between 800 and 1,000 attendees each year.

Nonprofits can currently register for $60 ($125 for a sponsorship) and businesses can register for $95 ($250 for a sponsorship). After Sept. 1, limited registration opportunities will be available and costs will increase.

Spots have sold out in the past few years, so early registration is encouraged. This will be the last Green Living Expo until 2025, as it will not be held in 2024.

For details or to submit an application, visit www.mchenry.edu/greenexpo.

This year, the Green Living Expo is also inviting area college and university students to share their sustainability-related research projects. Attendees will be invited to meet and talk with the students during their visit to the expo. Interested students should contact sustainability@mchenry.edu.
