Art of Living leader coming to Oak Brook for Aug. 15 meditation event

Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is returning to the greater Chicago area again after the successful "I Stand for Peace" event in June 2022, with almost 2.5K attendees.

"The Journey Within" with Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will be a transformative event on the heels of his groundbreaking book "Notes for the Journey Within" which has recently been headlining on The Wall Street Journal bestseller list.

"The Journey Within: Meditation, Wisdom, And the Art of Living Joyfully" will be an empowering evening of meditation and wisdom starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, at Chicago Oak Brook Marriott, 1401 W. 22nd St. Approximately 1,200 people are expected to attend this event. Chicago is just one stop on Gurudev's multicity U.S. speaking tour ahead of the World Culture Festival happening on the historic National Mall in Washington, D.C. from Sept. 29-Oct. 1.
