Join the Barnyard Bash Aug. 5 celebrating horse rescue center's 15th anniversary

The Illinois Equine Humane Center in Maple Park invites the community to celebrate the horse rescue organization's 15th anniversary.

The "Barnyard Bash" and silent auction will be 11 a.m to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at the farm, 47W635 Beith Road.

In addition to silent auction items to bid on, the event also will feature raffle prizes, bouncy house, agility course, and activities for children. The band Outpatience will perform. There will be food by 4D's BBQ, Rebecca's Cakes by Design, and the Cream King ice cream truck.

The Maple Park Fire Department will be making a visit.

There also will be tack and saddles for sale.

Tickets can be purchased online via www.ilehc.org or at the event.

Help support the organization working to rescue horses in need. The proceeds of this event go 100% directly to the care of the center's horses and its rescue efforts.
