Ages 55+ Pickleball Tournament Battle for First Place

The Arlington Heights Senior Center, Inc., Foundation, the fundraising arm of the Arlington Heights Senior Center, held its second Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, September 9, at Dryden Courts in Arlington Heights. Sixty-four players aged 55 and over battled for medals for first, second, and third places in beginner, intermediate and advanced categories.

Congratulations to Advanced Players David Rogers (1), Stuart Charney (2), and Pete Petersen (3); Intermediate Players Jonathan Nii (1), Angelo Grande (2), and Lisa Robinson (3); Beginner Players Chris Mahon (1), Stephanie Douglas (2), and Caroll Zamler (3).

The event was sponsored by Julie Hart of Baird and Warner, Bath Planet, Glueckert Funeral Homes Inc., Humana, The Moorings of Arlington Heights, Pfisterer Retirement and Insurance, Deer Park Village Dial Senior Living, and Viva Valet.

The fundraiser helps the Arlington Heights Senior Center, Inc., Foundation support the programs and services of the Arlington Heights Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Road, in Arlington Heights. The Senior Center has eight agencies that provide recreational, social, nutritional, educational, and social services programs and support to adults aged 55 or older in the Northwest Suburbs.
