Holevas earns NACC Offensive Player of the Week recognition

MILWAUKEE - Senior Logan Holevas of Marian University men's soccer has earned the first NACC Offensive Player of the Week award of his career, as voted on by the athletic communication professionals of the league.

Holevas (Lake Villa, Ill.) helped lead Marian to a pair of non-conference wins at home with a five-point week. He opened the week scoring the game-winning goal against Saint Mary's (Minn.) on a penalty kick with just 5:01 left to play. Then against Beloit, Holevas gave Marian a late lead with another penalty kick before assisting the eventual game-winning goal on a corner kick.

Marian opens NACC action at home Wednesday, September 13 against Wisconsin Lutheran at 7 p.m.
