Medcor collaboration aims to reduce workplace injuries
MCHENRY - Medcor said it is partnering with Work Right NW, a leader in providing injury prevention by using athletic trainers in an occupational setting.
By combining the capabilities of on-site clinics and skilled athletic trainers, Medcor and Work Right empower organizations to bolster workforce health through worksite ergonomic assessments, wellness education and job-role-specific physical coaching - including wearable technology solutions - all designed to reduce injuries before they occur.
Medcor provides occupational health, wellness and safety services to help companies reduce health care costs and improve health outcomes.
The collaboration with Work Right combines on-site injury prevention with on-site treatment, the company said. Work Right will also use Medcor's Telehealth Triage service to power its On Demand offering, expanding options for its customers.
"Our exclusive partnership with Work Right allows us to elevate injury prevention for our clients," said Philip Seeger, CEO of McHenry-based Medcor. "By synergizing Medcor's expertise in on-site clinics and telehealth triage with Work Right's innovative prevention strategies, we're reshaping how organizations address the overall well-being of their workforces."
