Fall harvest to be the theme of Celebrate Naperville
On Sunday, Sept. 24, Celebrate Naperville is showcasing the city's vibrant residents in conjunction with a look at how food and harvest shape our cultures and communities.
Listen to live storytelling around a multicultural theme that celebrates Naperville's residential diversity from 1 to 4 p.m. at Naper Settlement, 523 S. Webster St. This is your chance to tell your story.
Speakers from The People Tree will be telling stories around the theme of "harvest" and paw paw trees.
Kids can stop by the Touch-a-Tractor with tractors provided by West Side Tractor Sales Company.
They also can try their hand at Maggie the Milking Cow from Kline Creek Farm. This educational life-size fiberglass Holstein milking cow has a working udder with teats that you can really squeeze to get the effect of milking a cow.
Celebrate Naperville is included in general admission.
Admission to Naper Settlement is $12 for age 13 or older, $10 for age 62 or older, or $8 for youth, age 4 to 12.
It is free for museum members and Naperville residents with proof of residency.
