Kelsey Road House celebrates 50th anniversary and new ownership with ribbon-cutting in Lake Barrington

The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce and the village of Lake Barrington gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 12, to celebrate the 50th anniversary and new ownership of Kelsey Road House Restaurant and Garden, at 352 Kelsey Road, in Lake Barrington.

"We truly appreciate the warm welcome we've received from the community and their support for our vision of this landmark restaurant," said owner Paul Maloney. "Fundamentally, Kelsey Road House is about families, so we are developing a place for them to come and enjoy our space, which has been the basis for our development and expansion."

Kelsey Road House Restaurant and Garden is a unique venue that offers many different spaces for dining and gathering both indoors and outdoors, including a Garden Room, Pub, Basement, Beer Garden and a spacious lawn area perfect for families and dogs. Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, with live music most weekends.
