Enjoy bonfire, tacos at Aurora church Oct. 4

Wesley United Methodist Church in Aurora invites the community to a bonfire and taco dinner on Wednesday, Oct. 4.

It will begin at 6 p.m. at the church, 14 N. May St. Admission is free.

The event continues the church's biweekly Wednesday Night Gathering series that features a free dinner and family activity.

Gatherings meet on first and third Wednesdays during the school year. Bonus Gatherings are held on fifth Wednesdays.

Michelle Curiel, Wesley children and family director and Gatherings coordinator, said attendees are invited to bring a dish to pass.

The series continues at 6 p.m. Oct. 18 with a chili dinner and Halloween movie screening.

Wesley holds Sunday worship online at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. in the church sanctuary.
