Metea Valley Theatre puts on second annual children's show, 'The Trial of the Big Bad Wolf'

"The Trial of the Big Bad Wolf" will kick off the Metea Valley Theater season.

The second annual children's show is fun for all ages.

The Wolf: villain or victim? The Three Pigs: innocent or at fault? The Jurors (Miss Muffet, Bo Peep, Cinderella and Humpty-Dumpty, to name a few): solid citizens or characters with a past? And what about Judge Wise O. Al? Is justice on his side or does he have a secret to hide? Then there's the media - a reporter, newscaster and town crier. Have they come to accurately report the proceedings or to turn the courtroom into a media circus? And who is that surprise witness at the end? The answers to these profound questions and even more will be revealed once and for all in this fun-filled trial of the century!

There will be four showtimes: 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6; 2 and 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, in the Black Box Theater at Metea Valley High School, 1801 N. Eola Road in Aurora.
