Find crafts, collectibles and more at two Elgin church fundraisers Oct. 20-21

Two Elgin churches located at the intersection of Randall Road and Highland Avenue are inviting the community to shop at their annual fundraisers on the weekend of Oct. 20-21.

Visit St. Hugh of Lincoln Episcopal Church on the southeast corner during their "Treats & Treasures" event on Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Browse holiday and vintage home decor, handcrafted items, jewelry, children's games, collectibles and delicious assorted home-baked desserts and sweet treats. Major credit cards are accepted.

Also on Saturday, shop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Journey of Hope's popular Gingerbread Bazaar.

Located across the street from St. Hugh, visit more than 25 vendors displaying a wide variety of handcrafted gift items. Purchase a light lunch, browse the bakery tables, and enjoy a complimentary slice of gingerbread.

Make these fall fundraisers a part of your early holiday shopping. Proceeds from both churches' sales will benefit their local outreach ministries. Visit www.sthugh.net or
