Thrive Pet Healthcare opens 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital in Hoffman Estates

Thrive Pet Healthcare, a network of more than 380 veterinary hospitals in 37 states, is opening Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists in Hoffman Estates.

The multi-discipline veterinary facility will be the area's only 24/7 emergency pet care hospital, officials said.

"We are thrilled to bring comprehensive and round-the-clock pet care to the Chicagoland area," said Drew Stutts, Thrive Pet Healthcare area vice president for the central region.

Located at 2700 W. Higgins Road, the Hoffman Estates hospital houses a team of board-certified veterinarians. They specialize in emergency medicine, critical care, neurology, internal medicine, dermatology, radiation oncology and medical oncology. In 2024, radiology and cardiology will be added to the hospital's specialty services for pets.

"Our state-of-the-art facility, equipped with cutting-edge technology such as CT and MRI machines, and a Linear Accelerator (LINAC) for cancer treatment, ensures pets receive the best care available," said Dr. Jennie Culen, medical director at Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists in Hoffman Estates.
